Urethane Grass

パナソニック大阪本社・新社屋にて、芝生キューブの造作ソファーを担当。芝生上面には高反発ウレタンを使用しており、座り心地はもちろん、テーブルとしての使用も可能。ウレタン加工のみならず、椅子の張替え業務も長年手がける中で得たノウハウを活かすことで実現。芝の表情が特徴的なユニークな作品となった。

At Panasonic’s new Osaka headquarters, we produced built-in sofas shaped as grass-covered cubes. The turf-topped surface is finished with high-resilience urethane foam, offering comfortable seating while doubling as a table. The result draws on know-how built up not only from urethane fabrication, but also from years of chair reupholstery work — together making this piece possible. With its distinctive turf-like texture, it stands out as a truly unique creation.
